Last year I stopped (1)........(smoke). I'd been trying (2).........(give) up for ages. I needed (3)................(stop) because it was costing me a lot of money. And of course if i went on (4)..........(smoke), I would be putting my health at risk. I wasn't having much success until one day a friend said "Why don't you try (5)...........(eat) sweets instead of smoking? That might break the habbit." And it worked. I don't smoke now. But there is one problem. I like (6)...............(go) to the dentist for a check-up now and again. Last time he said " I regret (7)......(tell) you this, but your teeth don't look very healthy." he went on (8)..............(say) that three of my teeth needed (9).......(pull) out. THis was all because of the sweets. "Eating sweets means (10).......(do) a lot of damage to your teeth." he said. I don't regret (11)......(give) up smoking. I'd hate (12)............(become) addicted to tabacco again. But I'd love (13)............(have) healthy lungs and healthy teeth.
