Do you have any close friends? I think everybody at least has one close friend in their life. And so do I. I have two close friends, Lan and Nga. We are in the same class at the primary school, and then secondary school. We are also neighbors so we spend most of our time in learning and playing together. Lan is a beautiful girl with big black eyes and an oval rosy face. She is an intelligent student who is always at the top of the class. She likes reading, and she often goes to the library whenever she has free time. Nga isn’t as beautiful as Lan, but she has a lovely smile and looks very healthy. Nga is very sporty.  I have lived in a small hometown called Vinh Thanh Hometown for 10 years . It means : I have lived here since I was 6 years old . So that , in 10 years ago until now , I saw all of changes of my hometown .  Firstly , in the past , the road used to be the country road and have a lot of potholes , but now , it is getting beautiful and having blacktop . Not only that , on the roadsides , they also plant some trees and make some street lights . Moreover , the houses used to be small and ugly . But nowadays , they are getting spacious and nice . In addition , the schools uesd to have only one floor and look very fallen . Today , the schools have two floors , a big playground , mordern equipment and look very secure . In 2006 , people here were very poor . Most of them had only one bike , just 5 or 6 families had a motorbike . Besides , the environment was very clean . But in 2016 , people become richer than in the past . All of them have at least two motorcycles . And every children has a bicycle to go to school everyday . Furthermore , recent years , in my hometown , there are a lot of cars run on the road . Because of these , my hometown is getting polluted . Anyway , the changes of my hometown made me surprised a lot and i love my hometown very much.
