Individual has their own dream; therefore we always set plan for what we are going to. I am now freshman studying English linguistic at a university in HCMC. I will do IELTS test in the third year so that it will bring me higher job opportunity. I am now practicing English day by day in order to improve listening and speaking skills. Children only learn grammar and writing technique in the school; however, they don’t have a chance to try their best in authentic environment. I am a volunteer for some international meeting hold in Vietnam; therefore I have friendly environment to develop and discover my potential. Studying from school and book are traditional way, sometimes it doesn’t include much benefit than take part in outdoor activity. Beside, applying for extra job is also my intention. I applied to be a waitress in a coffee store and I am now waiting for the result. When doing this kind of job, one makes friend with a lot of people and keeps in touch with many relationship. It helps them be more confidence, responsible and independent in life. Teacher and school teach student basic knowledge, one must attend the outside world and learn from real experience. I intend to learn teaching method as my dream is becoming an English teacher one future day. I always hope to teach student living in isolated area so as to bring knowledge to all parts of my country. Therefore, I increase my effort to finish academic program as well as acquire social skill. As English and language are necessary in modern society, I always choose to pursue my dream to become a professional English teacher.

I am in grade 12 at the moment, and I have many plans for my near future. In about 8 more months, I will attend the biggest exam of a student - the university entrance exam; and this can be considered as one of the most important milestones in my life. In grade 12, we need to determine our path and which university we want to study, so I also make a detailed plan for my higher education. I am good at natural science subjects, so I would love to study in medical or computer universities. I live in a small countryside, so I have to move to another big city to finish my study. It means that I will live far from my family for a long time, but I have my reparation to maintain a good life even without my parents’ care. I learn to cook the main dishes from my mother, and my father is teaching me to fix some of the simple households as well as riding a motorbike. I intend to look for a part time job after I am settled down at the new place, so I really need to get a driving license so I could be initiative with my travel. I will try to cover a part of my expenses to reduce my parents’ pressure, but I will always keep my study as my first priority. My next four - year plan is all about studying and taking a good care of myself when I am away from home. There will be many bigger things coming after I graduation, but I am sure that I can handle them well if I have a good preparation.

Hiện nay tôi đanh học lớp 12, và tôi có rất nhiều kế hoạch cho tương lai gần của mình. Trong khoảng hơn 8 tháng nữa, tôi sẽ tham gia vào kì thi lớn nhất của một học sinh - kì thi tuyển sinh đại học; và đây có thể được xem là một trong những cột mốc quan trọng nhất trong đời tôi. Vào năm 12, chúng tôi cần phải xác định con đường và trường đại học mà chúng tôi muốn học, vậy nên tôi cũng làm một bảng kế hoạch chi tiết cho việc học cao hơn. Tôi học giỏi những môn khoa học tự nhiên, vậy nên tôi thích được học ở trường y khoa hoặc vi tính. Tôi sống ở một vùng nông thôn nhỏ, vậy nên tôi phải di chuyển đên một thành phố lớn hơn để hoàn thành việc học của mình. Điều đó có nghĩa tôi phải sống xa gia đình trong một thời gian dài, nhưng tôi đã có sự chuẩn bị để duy trì được một cuộc sống tốt kể cả khi không có sự chăm sóc của bố mẹ. Tôi học nấu những món ăn chính từ mẹ tôi, và bố tôi đang dạy tôi sửa một vài vật dụng đơn giản trong nhà cũng như chạy xe máy. Tôi định sẽ tìm một công việc làm bán thời gian sau khi tôi ổn định ở nơi ở mới, vậy nên tôi cần phải có bằng lái xe để có thể chủ động trong việc đi lại. Tôi sẽ cố gắng chi trả một phần chi phí của mình để giảm áp lực cho bố mẹ, nhưng tôi vẫn luôn xem việc học là ưu tiên hàng đầu của mình. Kế hoạch cho bốn năm kế tiếp của tôi toàn bộ là về việc học và chăm sóc bản thân khi sống xa nhà. Sẽ có nhiều điều lớn hơn sau khi tôi tốt nghiệp, nhưng tôi chắc rằng mình có thể giải quyết chúng nếu tôi có sự chuẩn bị tốt.
